Togetherness, family, and friends are key themes for this time of year, but what if you are coping with grief and loss during the holidays? From a young age nothing has really appeared to me as it was told to me about life and I have questioned everything since then. I was five years old when my father transitioned on Christmas Day and though it appeared from an outside perception that my life was falling apart, from my inside point of view looking out, I knew my life would never be the same or even have the same meaning of life. I’ve learned many times over that death can provide us with sometimes more questions than answers, and sometimes it provides completions.
“There is life after death…and it’s spectacular!”
Death can show up in all forms… the death of a marriage, the death of a spouse, the death of a loved one, the death of a career, a near death experience! In these experiences, however death is defined, can come the most remarkable turns in your life. These turning points can catapult you, not into depression, not into sadness, anxiety, or illness in any form which is expected, instead by implementing a technique, called NEO you will see those remarkable turns in your life.
What is NEO? Becoming NEO will change your life, your experiences, your relationships, your creativity… the list goes on! What is NEO? Neo is becoming the Non- Emotional Observer, as you see your Self, your life and your experience more clearly without the emotional attachments to your past, to your self-judgments or the judgments of others.
Your experiences do NOT have to be lessons, or a karmic hit that you did something wrong or whatever the judgement is named that labels you. As you observe non-emotionally, you can, yes you can, see the benefits of these “death” experiences that guide you, deep inside your Self, to meet your Self. To meet the courageous, brave and non-victim self…the Self of You, who is your own personal power and strength. At this turning point, this becomes the foundation of your purpose full and purpose filled life. In actuality you are stepping into your own Personalized Power.
Your Personalized Power is generated and supported from this natural innate internal resonance that propels your “energy” which is full of Life, directing you onto your “newness” pathways which becomes one clear deliberate step after another one clear deliberate step, after one clear deliberate step along this new self-induced journey!!! In this newness resonance you do not take life personal!!! You Personalize your life! This step happens naturally as you become NEO!!!
“Is death a completion?”
At some point in time there is the completion date of life that is labeled as death. For those that have a belief system that life is eternal, then the body dies but the soul moves on. For those that believe in Karma, Lessons and Reincarnation, the soul has other opportunities to live again. Some believe that death is the end of the road. Regardless of your belief systems, we all have in common the grieving and the loss of the family and friends who are “left” behind. Death can be devastating even if it was expected, it is never easy to accept that the person is gone. Death is an ending to a cycle and a freedom to move on. Perhaps if you don’t hold on to the person who transitioned but hold the memories in your heart, then the person can live forever in your memories.
Celebrate the life of your family member or friend. Recognize his or her contribution to your life without judging. Maybe his or her part of the relationship supported you to be stronger and to know your Self even deeper. Whatever the case, whomever it is that has transition, without judging, let he or she move on. Then you can move on and keep the memories in your heart. This becomes a transition for you as well as for the departed.
Now it is time for you to live your Self, not death. Embrace your aliveness. This is your life! Complete and move forward. The departed is doing just this!
Christmas is a wonderful time of the year to reflect, to see where we have been, what we have learned form each other, where we are now, and where we can grow individually and together into the future that we create for 2020.
This is a perfect time to make a commitment to love yourself and your life unconditionally. See the blessings and gifts in your life and bless others by sharing your life and gifts with them.
