Sometimes, someone enters your life, and you have no idea how profoundly they’ll impact it. Over five and a half years ago, I received a call from MaryScott King. She said, “Lizz Pellet gave me your number and said I should call. I’ll be in Arizona with my mother, MaryLisle, on vacation, and I’d like to make an appointment with you.”

I didn’t know it then, but that call would change my life forever.

The Start of a Transformative Journey

During her first session, MaryScott shared, “I have a great job, own a great house, and have a boyfriend. Everything looks perfect on the outside—but I’m miserable. When can we get started?” My response was simple: “We already have.”

She came to that appointment on crutches after surgery on her left leg. From a consciousness perspective, her female creative side was figuratively “cut off.” She wasn’t standing in her truth, and there was anger bubbling beneath the surface. This realization sparked something powerful in her—a determination to make changes.

Healing from the Inside Out

As MaryScott began addressing emotional attachments to her past, she realized something crucial: healing doesn’t happen in the mind. It happens in the body. She fully understood that the body stores everything—traumas, memories, and emotional imprints. Healing required her to go beyond rationalizing and start feeling.

After her first session, she felt a shift and called for another appointment before returning to California. This time, she brought her mother along. Together, they embarked on a journey of healing and growth, beginning with the Intuitive Powers/Practical Applications I course.

No Excuses, Just Commitment

Unlike many who hesitate, saying, “I’m not ready,” MaryScott dove right in. She and her mother took the class together, breaking down barriers and uncovering truths buried deep within. Her enthusiasm and courage were contagious. She didn’t stop at the first course—she went on to complete Levels II and III.

Her mission was clear: to invest in herself, her relationships, her profession, and her life. She refused to be held back by outdated programs in her mind.

Facing Challenges with Consciousness

One memorable moment came when MaryScott called me, upset about a disagreement with her boyfriend. She asked, “What should I do?” I said, “Apologize. You’re out of line.” She hesitated but then acknowledged, “You’re right. My Childish Adult Ego is out of control.”

That level of self-awareness and accountability defined her approach to life. She didn’t blame others or shy away from challenges. Instead, she faced them with honesty and grace.

A Legacy of Growth and Connection

Over the years, MaryScott transformed her life in extraordinary ways. Her journey inspired those around her, including her sister, HelenLisle, whose creativity flourished as she wrote the words to the QuantumPathic song Cut the Bands.

MaryScott’s dedication to her growth extended to auditing courses, investing time and energy to uncover and release emotional blockages. She embraced her truth with courage, love, and a deep desire to live fully.

Living, Loving, and Laughing Together

Laughter is Healing

Beyond her sessions and classes, MaryScott became a dear friend. We shared countless adventures, from shopping marathons to heartfelt conversations. Her zest for life was infectious.

She loved visiting the Anshara Institute, often falling asleep in the healing room with Bobbi Girl, the “healing kitty,” by her side. Their bond was as special as the relationships she nurtured with everyone she met.

Honoring MaryScott’s Legacy

MaryScott’s impact on the Anshara Institute community is immeasurable. Her laughter, courage, and unconditional love continue to inspire us. Her mantra, “Live, Love, and Laugh,” serves as a reminder to embrace life fully.

In honor of MaryScott, the King Family established the MaryScott King Scholarship Fund to provide opportunities for individuals ready to transform their lives. As she once said, “You change the world—a person at a time, a class at a time. I love it!”

Mary Scott’s life was a testament to the power of self-investment, courage, and living authentically. Her legacy reminds us to embrace challenges, connect deeply, and laugh freely.
